If you want a complete application to organize, play and change the format of the audio files of your music collection, try out GXTranscoder, that is officially called GX::Transcoder. It is an application that is still under development, but should be taken into account. ��GXTranscoder offers access to different functions from the same application, whether from the "Function" menu or the program's icons. It integrates three modules: - Transcoder. This is the applications main function. It is used to convert an audio files format, adjusting the quality and coding parameters. - Player. It is a comfortable player, from where we will be able to access both the coded files and the originals. - Tagger. This extra function allows to quickly insert and modify that songs tags, that includes the information regarding Artist, album, title, etc... What's more, thanks to the "Search Artist Info" we will be able to access complete information about the artist. ��Among the audio files supported by the application we will find: WAV, OGG, MP1, MP2, MP3, MPG, MPEG, AIF and BWF. Once a file of this type is loaded in the "Transcoder" tab, we can modify the output parameters: coding mode (VBR, CBR, ABR), number of channels, compression rate, etc.
